Summary

Notifications are one of the fundamentals of using a Software system. While Jira Cloud has so many functions, it would be good if an API method can be available to control the notification scheme in terms of:

1. Adding / Removing Events from the Schema
2. Setting Notification events based on Workflow triggers.

Anyway, that would enable developers to be able to customize how the notification could be sent out.

Why is it Important

In an organization that relies heavily on notifications, to be able to dynamically change the notification scheme will help reduce the noise of notification to certain individuals within the organization.
