      Current behaviour

Underneath the 5 comments is a button, View 100 older comments. After clicking the next 100 comments appear along with a new button View 2 remaining older comments:

Due to Server being dropped, we're in Cloud migration testing and this is another pain point for our users (added to my growing list). Yet again Jira Cloud fails to be a like-for-like replacement for Server.

Looks like this has been fixed. I now see "show remaining x" comments and if there are more than 10 it's a single click. Thanks for making things better Atlassian.

Our organization also has extensive commenting and depends on the ability to expand all comments at once and permalinks.

The current design collectively costs us a lot of time repeatedly clicking to load comments.  Please re-introduce the ability to load all comments in one click, thanks!

This also breaks the recently restored ability to link to comments via permalinks

            Please consider this use case,

We are managing tasks on a monthly basis by adding issues in a comment.

So if I want to look back to my past month task then I expand all comments and check.

In an old view, it was possible so I could easily expand all comments in a single click and search for the issue.

While in a new view, that's not possible. I have to click on 'View 10 older comments' every time until all comments are loaded.

            Thank you.
