Why this is important

As an admin, I would like to control the disclosure of companies/clients that we are working within our Jira instance.

Workaround 

Admins can restrict the "browse" features of the profiles by restricting the "browse users" permissions. See managing global permissions on CAC to learn about modifying this permission.

So basically you need to restrict the browse users in Jira to only certain groups. However, there would be some limitations which include:

• Top left 'home' button in global nav does nothing.
• No search.
• No 'Works with' section.
• No 'People' in the app switcher
• Cannot invite users to teams
• No mentioning of users
