I'm glad to announce that when you toggle the "Hide Done" filter on, it will remain persistent for all issues in that project.

In the new issue view, there's a flag option to Hide done sub-tasks in the Parent issue view, however, once the page is refreshed, the option is not flagged anymore.
When the "Hidden done" filter is set, the done issues are removed from the screen. But when we select either "Bulk Edit" or "View in Search" from the subtasks issues panel, the done issues will be displayed in both taken actions:
1 - Original scenario
2 - Using the "Hide done" filter
3 - Select the "Bulk edit" action, and the issue that is done will be displayed even if choosing the "Hide done" issues before
It would be nice to make this option permanent until it's manually changed again.

I totally agree with all of you, it would be a very nice and handy feature
Seems like a very small change that should have been implemented years ago.
Please make this change, currently very frustrating to click every time.
Echoing another user's comment about this functionality: The need to scroll and click twice to trim the story to only remaining work every time you open a story is the definition of toil. It doesn't take too long, and I do it mindlessly, but the number of times I do it a day adds up quickly.
Getting questions about this, too. Will this ever be implemented? 🤔
This really should be completed now. Would be such a simple UI improvement. Can't believe we've been waiting 4 years.
