The new batch notification does bring the information of the issue type, written in the email body when a new issue is created, different than the old format that had the icon of the issue type on the top of the email.
Updates on existing issues do not include any information about the issue type.

It would be useful if the new notifications could have the issue type icon as well. Here are some examples of why this feature would be useful:

1) Issue type is very important, and the icons use color and shape to highlight the type for quicker at-a-glance comprehension.

2) Issue type icons used to be at the top of the email notification, which made them easy to find and helped user digest that information first. That is a helpful placement. Ideally, the icon would be added AND up at the top, but if not the words should still be moved up to the top of the email.
