Problem Definition

Currently, to change the outgoing email address, a Jira admin needs to update the address per project bases as described in [https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiracloud/configuring-email-notifications-776636790.html].

So, the Jira admin has to update the outgoing email address each time a new project is created.

Suggested Solution

Provide a feature on the SMTP mail configuration page accessible through /secure/admin/OutgoingMailServers.jspa to apply the outgoing email address change for all current and newly created projects.

Why this is important

• More efficient.
• Less time consuming.

Workaround

For now the change is only made per project basis.
