Mention does not trigger "commentMention" event in Old Issue View

Description

Whenever a comment is added with a user mention, two events are expected to be triggered:

• comment
• commentMention

Previously, in both the old and new issue views, whenever a user was mentioned on a comment these two events were fired by Jira. This seems to have started to happen when the old issue view started to handle mentions as [Full Name|~accountid:<id>] instead of referencing the email address.

Currently, however, the "commentMention" event is not being fired upon a mention in the old issue view, causing email notifications to not be sent unless the user is configured as a recipient of the Issue Commented event.

Steps to reproduce

1. Switch back to the old issue view
2. Create a comment with a mention, as exemplified below

Expected results:

Events are triggered by Jira and mention notification is sent.

Actual results:

Only the comment event is triggered. In case the user who's being mention is not configured to receive this type of message in the Notification scheme, he will not be notified of this event.

Workaround:

This problem does not occur when using the new issue view. Also, this does not occur if the user mentioned is set as a recipient of Issue Commented events in the Notification Scheme

Notes:

This impacts scenarios where notification schemes are configured so that users only receive notifications of comments where they are mentioned.
