Moving Jira issue between projects takes too many clicks

Why does it take 4 steps to move an item from one project to another in Jira?

We triage in one project and assign across teams. The same experience happens for one or twenty issues when using that issue's ellipsis menu to move the issue to another board. Most times I need to select an issue type because it doesn't know that 'bug' = 'bug'. Every time takes over 4 steps.

Suggestion: Just let me confirm the change and modify a type/status in one page before submitted.
