Make Quick Filters Great Again

I love the Assignee filters which are generated automatically, but after a few go horizontally they go to the (+5) vertical list you need to expand to see them.  That is not quick, finding them is slow.  Custom Quick Filters doesn't show you any filters until you expand vertically, that is also not quick. To the right of all this is a vast expanse of whiteness, which would be a great place to put both the Assignee icons and the Quick Filters. Both filter types could expand to fit as many as possible before the end of the window, but there's some kind of wall keeping them out of the white space. It would be a wonderful world if we got rid of that imaginary wall and let the colorful icons spread out more into that wasted white space, then you'd have the best quick filters.
