As a Jira administrator I want to set Jira Audit log retention period to 1 year as requested by auditors

      Problem Definition

      • Currently, it is possible to set the log retention period on Jira Audit log for 1 month, 3 months or 6 months.
      • I want to have the option to set the retention period to 1 year.

      Suggested Solution

      • Provide 1 year of audit logs.

      Why this is important

      • Our auditors are requesting to have 1 year of logs for auditing/security purposes.

      Workaround

      • Currently, there is no workaround.
