No longer able to add tables to text based fields

      Summary

      The option to add a table to any text-based field is no longer possible in the new JIRA issue view as the option was removed from the editor.

      Workaround

      There is no way to add tables in the new view, you can, however, add the table through the old view and switch back to the new view which would display properly.
