Summary
When issue view is set to "Detail View", no prompt to save during edit of description when you click on a filter link
Steps to Reproduce
- Set issue view to "Detail View"
- Open one of the ticket in "Browse" mode by clicking on the Issue Key
- It will be opened in a URL similar to https://<instance>.atlassian.net/browse/ABC-1
- Edit description of the ticket
- Under "Issues and Filters" menu, click on any of the filter
- You will be redirected without any prompt to save first
Expected Results
There should be a prompt to save first. Looks like:
Changes that you made may not be saved.
Actual Results
There is no prompt to save first
Notes
- When you're editing comment, it actually prompted:
- "You have entered a comment on this issue. If you navigate away from this page without first saving, the comment will be lost."
- When you're editing description and click on a button that redirected to any other link which is not a filter, it actually prompted:
- "Changes that you made may not be saved."
Workaround
Use "list view" mode in the issue view
