Unable to bold words in the new issue detail view

Summary

Users are facing issues when it comes to bolding words in the Description field of the new Issue Detail View

Steps to Reproduce

1. Make sure the Labs function is being turned on in your instance
2. Head over to profile > Labs (bottom of the page) > switch on the option
3. Now head over to any project > head to backlog > select an issue > type anything in the description field eg. hello
4. hello would be in Italic hello or hello

Expected Results

The typed word hello will be in bold form

Actual Results

The word hello will be in Italic or sometimes the word won't even be processed to bold

Workaround

Turn off the new Issue Detail View
