Bug
-
Resolution: Fixed
-
Low
-
Severity 3 - Minor
-
Environment
- Mac
- Safari version 11.1.2 (13605.3.8)
Steps to Reproduce
- Open the new issue view
- Set IME to a Japanese one
- Type two letters (Consonant + Vowel) and press the Enter key to convert in the comment field or description field
e.g.) Type "k"(Consonant) + "i"(Vowel).
Expected Results
"k" + "i" is converted to "き" ("ki" = "き" in Japanese) and the cursor remains on the same line
Actual Results
"k" + "i" is converted to "き" ("ki" = "き" in Japanese) but a line break is automatically inserted
Notes
Converting is mandatory when entering Japanese. Though users can use other browsers/IMEs, this is affecting Japanese users badly
