Summary
The forward email function in JIRA Incoming Mail handler is used to report on emails that failed to turn into issues, however; when there is a default reporter set, no forward emails are sent out.
Environment
- Jira Cloud
Steps to Reproduce
- Set Default Reporter on Incoming Mail Handler
- Set Create Users = False
- Set Forward Email
- Send email from an email that isn't a member of the instance
Expected Results
Email sent to forward email saying the message can't be processed
Actual Results
No email is sent to forward email
Workaround
Remove Default Reporter
