Description
Summary
Customers have noticed that in their Jira Issue Activity, the New Value for some fields are appearing as the Raw String rather than being interpreted
This was first noticed in the Description field where line breaks are showing up as \r\n
Environment
- Cloud
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a Jira Issue
- Update the Description Field
Expected Results
All and History Activity shows line breaks
Actual Results
Notes
The Original Value correctly shows the line breaks however the New Value does not interpret the line breaks as such
Workaround
None, appears to be a visual issue in the Activity of the Issue, viewed Description appears correctly

JRACLOUD-69685 The line formatting characters (e.g \t\n\s) are shown for the description's text within the notification emails. Update on 28/06/2018: Values are now within quotes ("...") and it affects the Issue Details View's Tabs and the Webhooks too
