Summary

When attempting to log work / log time in the New Jira Issue View, the "Log Time" pop-up window freezes and the loading circle goes on forever. The Time Spent will not be saved.

Environment

• Atlassian Cloud
• New Jira Issue View

Steps to Reproduce

1. Ensure that you have enabled New Jira Issue View (in your profile).
2. Go to a board (it can be either Scrum, Kanban or Business).
3. Click on an issue, Select the ". . ." -> Log Time.
4. Input any Time spent. Then, click on "Log time".

Expected Results

The Time Spent value will be saved, and the pop-up window will be closed.

Actual Results

Nothing happens, and the Time Spent will not be saved. The pop-up window will continue to show the loading circle keep spinning, but the whole page will be unresponsive.

Taking a look at the Browser Console, we can see this error:

Workaround

1. Log work outside of the board (directly on the View Issue screen), or
2. Disable the New Jira Issue View.
   • This can be done by Clicking on the Profile Icon at the bottom left -> Profile. Under the "Labs" section, disable the "New Jira Issue View".
