Summary

After the implementation of new JIRA experience, we noticed the slowness on IE 11.

• Impact the operations due to the slowness and even timeout.

Environment

• JIRA Cloud
• IE 11

Steps to Reproduce

On IE 11, try to

1. Access JIRA
2. Navigating to Project, then straight to a Board
3. Navigating to Search then ‘View all issues’ (returns all 29,700 issues)
4. Clicking bulk change

Expected Results

• All pages should load smoothly on IE 11.
• All browsers should have the same performance.

Actual Results

• Entering took JIRA 80 Seconds
• Viewing project hangs for several tries and loaded 17.9 Seconds. Boards took 278 seconds with ERROR Timeout prompt error
• Search took 121 seconds
• Bulk change took 172 seconds

Notes

Tested with Google Chrome on the same machine, everything is loading smoothly.

• Use a different browser
