Problem Definition

Currently, the only way to retrieve in-app notifications in Jira is accessing the Atlassian Home.
However, it is not practical having to access the Home from time to time to keep track of notifications

Similar to Confluence, add an icon to improve the visibility of the available notifications in the sidebar:

Why this is important

This would be a good improvement for those users who want to rely on in-app notifications instead of email.
