Summary

Unable to comment using the activity stream gadget in JIRA.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Login to JIRA and view your dashboard.
2. Click comment under an issue or space update in the Activity Stream.
3. After writing comment, click add.

Expected Results

Comment added to issue or Confluence page.

Actual Results

You either receive the error:

The activity you were trying to comment on is inaccessible or has been deleted.

Also seeing this have a continual spin trying to load and not displaying the above error.

Logs show: Logged an error while posting comment: DELETED_OR_PERMISSION_DENIED

Reproduced locally.

Workaround

Open the respective issue of the activity stream gadget and make the comment through the issue view or Confluence page.
