Text Formatting Notation Help does not indicate a way to create a new paragraph in the new Jira UI

Environment

In Jira Cloud, using the new Jira interface

Steps to Reproduce

1. In new Jira UI, edit an issue description
2. Enter some text
3. press Enter twice (once to start a new line, and once more to leave an empty line between blocks)
4. enter some more text
5. Save changes

Expected Results

Would expect a single empty line between bodies of text to create a new paragraph

Actual Results

There is a line break, but this does not look visible different then a wrap around line of text.

A paragraph should have more spacing between itself and the previous paragraph

Still indicates that a single empty line should be sufficient.

Workaround

It appears possible to do this if you leave 3 empty lines between blocks of text. I also found you could hold Shift while you press Enter twice in order to achieve this same view. However only pressing enter twice leaves 2 spaces without a proper paragraph display.
