It would be nice to have REST requests to the rest/api/2/issue/bulk endpoint handled asynchronously so that they don't hit the proxy timeout of 60 seconds.

      By default all the requests sent to JIRA are dropped if they more than 60 seconds to get a response.

      However this may prevent the rest/api/2/issue/bulk endpoint from working correctly. For example, when trying to bulk create 100 issues, if this takes more than 60 seconds then only 80 are created and the other 20 are lost forever.
