Summary

JIRA Custom Events do not trigger a notification in HipChat room.

Environment

Cloud JIRA v1001.0.0-SNAPSHOT

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a custom event in JIRA
2. In your workflow, set a post function in a transition to fire the custom event created in #1
3. In your project's HipChat integration menu, select a HipChat room and click Add
4. Select "issue transitioned to" and select the transition from #2

Test by transitioning the issue.

Expected Results

The HipChat room should be notified.

Notes

The same steps above (Steps to reproduce) will work if you select a system event (generic event, issue updated, etc) instead of a custom event.

Workaround

Use the post function Notify HipChat.
