As a user, I'm concerned about providing administrative permissions to all add-ons installed on my instance.
In February a change on how add-on permissions are given to JIRA projects was made. This resulted in all JIRA projects now having a new project role called atlassian-addons-project-access on all project's permission schemes. More details about this change on the following link:
Now, when installing an add-on, it will automatically receive the Administer projects permission on all projects. I'd like to request the reviewing of this decision, as it seems that giving this permission to all add-ons might be unnecessary.
