JIRA mobile app login cannot handle MS Azure redirect

      Summary

      On a setup where JIRA cloud is configured with SAML to connect to MS Azure and MS Azure is connected further to a self-hosted ADFS, JIRA mobile app (iOS) will not be able to complete the redirects on login.

      Environment

      JIRA Cloud configured with SAML to connect to MS Azure and further to a self-hosted ADFS

      cloud.atlassian.net -> login.microsoftonline.com -> self-hosted.com/adfs/ls/auth

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Open JIRA iOS mobile app
      2. Enter the cloud instance URL
      3. Enter a verified domain email address to redirect to MS Azure
      4. Enter the same verified domain email address

      Expected Results

      Login screen should redirect to the ADFS login form

      Actual Results

      Login screen will hang on redirecting....

      Notes

      Redirects are working properly when logging in via a desktop browser or via the iOS mobile browser
