JIRA WebHook for Worklog Changed and Issue Updated are not sending correct timetracking information

    XMLWordPrintable

Details

    Description

      Summary

If the user configures a JIRA WebHook to fire when an Issue Updated and Worklog Changed events occur and he performs a workflow transition where he logs work directly during the transition, the Worklog Updated JSON will have information about the time logged during the transition, but the Issue Updated event won't.

      Environment

      Cloud

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create a WebHook and set all issue related events:
      2. Put the log work field in a JIRA screen and associate it with a workflow transition
      3. Perform the workflow transition and log work on it.

      Expected Results

The WebHook will be triggered once for the Log Work and another time for the Issue Update.
Both should have the time tracking information.

      Actual Results

The time tracking information will have old values for the Issue Updated WebHook.

      Workaround

      No workaround for this scenario.
The user can still log work and then perform the transition to get accurate data.
