Any chance I will ever get any kind of response on this?

Or is Atlassean too busy moving useful functionality into additional paid add-ons to even bother looking at bugs of customers?

It seems that the problem is not actually related to the fact that they are on different tabs, but simply that there are different tabs with non-empty fields.

For example, the behavior also occurs if I display sprint, story points and epic on the first tab, while having a second tab with other fields. As soon as I enter data in a field on the second tab, sprint, story points and epic are no longer displayed in the details page. (see attached screenshots of virtual example).

This is extremely confusing for the users, because on some issue epics are displayed in the details and in other issues with additional data it looks as if the issue is not assigned to an epic even though it is - the data is simply shown on a tab that is just not visible.

This creates confusion in our workflow.

Is there a definition anywhere, which fields are displayed in the details area directly and which are shown in the tabs?
Why isn't there any option to configure this?
