Sprint and Epic Link columns disappear while moving them (drag and drop) in issue navigator

    XMLWordPrintable

Details

    Description

      Steps to reproduce

      1. In Issue Navigator (list view), add the 'Sprint' or 'Epic Link' column
      2. Drag and drop it to another position

      Results

The column simply disappears, instead of being displayed in the new position. Oddly enough, any other columns seem to behave just fine.

This is also replicable for the "Linked Issues" field.

      Workaround

You can work with the columns in Excel.

      1. Create a filter using the columns, including Sprint and Epic Link.
      2. Export the filter to Excel
      3. Sort the columns using Excel

Using Epic Link in a spreadsheet at least lets you group your items by epic using data filters. But that is all outside of JIRA, unfortunately.

Make sure you don't try to move the column before your export to Excel.
