Description
Users are experiencing issues when creating new projects in JIRA OnDemand.
Steps to Reproduce
1. Click Projects > Create Project from the main navigation. This brings up the Select Project Type screen.
2. Select a project type (e.g. Simple Issue Tracking) and click Next.
3. Complete the wizard steps (including providing the project name, key, and lead) and hit Submit.
Result
- The Simple Issue Tracking screen remains up indefinitely with an activity indicator spinning next to the Back button.
- Navigating to the Projects administration page lists the new project but clicking the link (or browsing to it using the /browse/KEY convention) results in the Project Does Not Exist error. Similarly, browsing to the individual project administration tab (/plugins/servlet/project-config/KEY) results in an error message.
- Trying to delete the project results in the Project Does Not Exist error.
Workaround
Raise a support ticket at support.atlassian.com under OnDemand Support to have your JIRA instance restarted.
