Steps to replicate:

1. Create a new dashboard
2. Add a 'pie chart' gadget to the dashboard
3. Edit the pie chart gadget to point at a project or a filter
4. Save the gadget
5. Click tools->view as wallboard

Result:

Pie chart gadget does not render, the following error is shown:

Expected result:

The pie chart gadget renders as it does on the dashboard.
