Projects with JQL reserved words as project keys show blank page with Project Navigation enabled

When the new project navigation is enabled, we have a problem where the page listing the issues is empty. This is happening on Cloud instances.

This problem is happening to projects with keys that are JQL reserved words. This has been seen with "DO", "AND", "AS" and "IN". Not tested with others. This is what the page shows:

      Steps to reproduce

      1. Have Project Navigation enabled
      2. Create a project where the key is a JQL reserved word, say 'AND'.
      3. Create an issue in this project
      4. Select in 'Issues', 'All Issues'
      5. Go to https://instance/projects/AND/issues
        • Replace AND by the key

      Expected behavior

      • All issues are shown

      Actual outcome

      • No issue is shown, neither the 'No issues were found to match your search'

      Workaround

      • Edit/Change the project key. Steps: visit the project > administration > edit project > edit key
        OR
      • Use the issue search page: Issues > Search for issues > project = 'AND'

            Loading...
