Steps to reproduce

1. Go to Application Navigator.
2. Add a new entry. In the "Groups" field, search for a group.

Expected results

JIRA returns matching group name, without any error.

Actual results

JIRA returns matching group name, however, throws an error message on the page:

Sorry, something went wrong. Your changes are not being saved.
Try refreshing the page. If the problem persists, please contact your System Administrator.

Other info

• This happens across Safari, Chrome, Firefox. Not tested on IE.
• No error recorded in JIRA logs.
• No error recorded in browser error console.

Workaround

The feature still allows admins to proceed with the link creation (press "Add" and the link will be created).
