Summary

Updates in JIRA issues don't show Workbox notifications in Confluence.
Comments, mentions, shares from JIRA are not being displayed in Confluence Workbox.
Note: Mentions, shares, etc from Confluence are displayed correctly in the Workbox.

Steps to Reproduce

On an affected site:

1. Leave a comment with an @ mention to a user
2. Open the Workbox with that user in Confluence
   Expected: Comment is displayed
   Actual: Workbox is empty

No error in the JIRA or Confluence logs

Cause:

JIRA mywork-common-plugin sometimes fails to get the Confluence application ID and fails to send the notification.

Workaround

Most of the times a JIRA restart temporarily solves the problem but it reappears afterwards.
