Invalid date format error displayed when trying to use the "Between" date in the Search Issue Navigator of JIRA with the "Resolution Date"

Environment

Steps to Reproduce

1. Go to the Issue navigator of JIRA;
2. Switch to basic mode of search;
3. Add the Resolution Date to the search and select "Between"
4. Use the date format as suggested: dd-MMM-yyyy

Expected Results

The search should work just fine and provide the list of issues within this range

Actual Results

It doesn't work and the following error appears:

Invalid date format. Please enter the date in the format "d/MMM/yy".

Workaround

Use a date format as suggested by the error message:
