Summary
Currently, if a user sets the post-function 'Set Field Value from Parent' to the creation transition, creates a parent, and then creates a sub-task, the sub-task will not inherit the field value of the parent issue. It does not matter which value this is.
Steps to Reproduce
- Add the 'Set Field Value from Parent' post-function to any field for the create transition.
- Create a task and set it to any user
- Create a sub-task for the parent
- The field that should populate with the value from the parent will remain either empty, or what it is by default.
Expected Results
Field should populate with value in the parent issue.
Actual Results
Field remains what it initially is.
Workaround
None, other than to set the field manually in the sub-task.
