Description
Summary
It's not possible to set the Maximum Authentication Attempts Allowed in JIRA's General Configuration as this option vanished.
Steps to Reproduce
- Log in to JIRA with Administrators global permission
- Click the Cog menu and select System
- Click the Edit Settings button in the General Configuration tab
Expected Results
The Maximum Authentication Attempts Allowed option should be there below the Application title at the top.
Actual Results
The option isn't there.
Notes
Tested on JIRA Cloud version 7.1.0-OD-02-025 (hash bf893f01c57338b8e5e432ca7c509242a7bd2393)
Downgraded my test instance to 7.0.0-OD-08-005 (hash d0a599825401a37b9558840bc01618f8634cf00c)
Typing g+g then "captcha" shows the suggestion, but after selecting it the option isn't there.
