Summary

When previewing PDFs attached to issues on JIRA Cloud using Internet Explorer 11 or Sfari, most times the file is not previewed as expected.

Environment

• JIRA Cloud v1000.586.0

Steps to Reproduce

1. On Internet Explorer 11 or Safari, open an issue that have a PDF attached;
2. Click on the attached PDF's thumbnail to preview it.

Expected Results

The PDF file is previewed on the screen.

Actual Results

Most times, the preview screen hangs on the loading wheel, or shows the Ouch! We can't load the PDF* error.

Workaround

• Download the attached file to the computer to visualize it;
• Use a different browser (Chrome, Firefox).

UPDATE

I have tested and confirmed that this bug also affects Safari.
