      Problem Definition

      No option to disable People and Dates section side bar.

      Suggested Solution

      Allow option to restrict the view ability of the People and dates bar section for certain users. As well as the JIRA Software software panel. The How to disable Agile side panel from issue view screen as of JIRA 7 is now outdated.

      Why this is important

       If you wish to conceal particular individual names or other criteria from "public" or "external" company users.
