Collapse Backlog section of Backlog page by default

      I want to collapse the JIRA backlog (list of issues not yet allocated to a sprint) by default

      so that My screen does not take up most space for stories which are lowest on my priority list and furthest awy in time to the team addressing

            I also would appreciate this 'feature' that should have been there since day 1.  

            @Anusha Rutnam I don't believe this is a duplicate of 11198.  That's about adding a button to collapse/expand all sprints.  This issue is about making the backlog section of the Backlog tab collapsible just like the sprint sections.

            I believe this issue is a duplicate of JSWCLOUD-11198 – Collapse/Expand All button to collapse or expand all sprints in the Backlog

            I recommend that watchers of this issue vote on and watch the above issue. So that votes aren't split, I believe this ticket should be closed, but I will wait a week before taking any action in case anyone thinks both issues should continue to exist. Thank you!

            It will be very nice to have the ability to collapse the backlog column of a Kanban Board and still have a view of how many issues are in there.
