Hello Everyone,
Currency (and percentage) formatting is now available on the number custom field in Team-Managed projects for all customers and we have also begun rolling this out for Company-Managed projects with the plan to reach all sites this week (excluding bundled release track customers). For more information on how this feature works, please see this page for Team-Managed projects and this page for Company-Managed projects.

Hello Everyone,
I'm excited to announce that we have begun work on supporting currency formatting on the existing number custom field in Jira Cloud. This feature will enable a format - number, currency or percentage to be applied to a new or existing number custom field during field creation or customisation.
Rollout to number fields in team-managed projects will begin in the coming weeks and i will update this ticket when I have timelines to share on rolling this out to company managed projects.

Request you to create a custom field with type Currency.
want to capture variours currency values with a single custom field.
user should be able to select currecy type and able to key in the figures.
ex: able to select USD or AUD or INR from various supported currency types and able key in 5000 or 1000 as number
