If we refer to the documentation below, the token will expire in 7 days after generated:

With a note whether the token expiry is still the same as in the documentation.

Suggested Solution:

To have an option to extend the token expiry for longer use. For example, an option in the "View OAuth Access Token" page accessible from the user profile.
