ordering of statuses (wf statuses)

actual ordering is by time of status creation with possibility to move it manuály by one position - what is impossible in our company with more than hundred statuses in wrong alphabetical order. It would be helpful if you provide just simple manual ordering as in options in select fields - when I can say move this to position 56... Automatical ordering would be the best, but numbering the position and move to particular position would help aswell
