Ability to have Bulk Change permission on project level

      Problem Definition

      At the moment, the Bulk Change permission can be configured in the global permission page and once the respective group has been granted to this permission, the group members will be able to perform a bulk change to all tickets in all projects. This would also allow them to Bulk change tickets for projects they shouldn't be administrating but have permission to edit single tickets.

      Suggested Solution

      • to use the current Bulk Edit interface (in Issue Navigator) but only display the Bulk Edit option if you have Bulk Edit permission to all projects contained in your search result
      • another option would be to enable it or when the project filter is selected & you filtered on projects where you have Bulk edit rights only. This might be better performing as you wouldn't need to check each individual ticket rather the projects in the filter
