Problem Definition
When creating a new project using a shared configuration, users and roles are not shared between projects. This way, when creating a new project where the same users will have the same roles, they have to be added manually.
Suggested Solution
Add the option to share the users and roles between projects or to copy them over to the new project when creating it.
Workaround
The only workaround would be to add the users to their roles manually.

JRASERVER-60335 Add option to copy users and roles when creating project through the "Create with shared configuration" option
- Gathering Interest
Very disappointing that this has been closed. We have a set of "templates" that we use to create projects, and that also includes a set of project roles and groups assigned to those roles based on the project type. This really should be part of the shared settings when a project is created using this functionality. This should be re-opened and implemented.
