      NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Cloud. Using JIRA Server? See the corresponding suggestion.

      Problem Definition

      Currently it's not possible to change the layout of Comments under the Activity section and the users also do not have the ability to show comments as collapsed as default.

      Suggested Solution

      Being able to show comments as collapsed as default and able to expand comments if needed.

      Workaround

      There's no workaround at the moment.
