      NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Cloud. Using JIRA Server? See the corresponding suggestion.

      Currently the only way to get field information is all fields (https://docs.atlassian.com/jira/REST/latest/#api/2/field-getFields), which can be weighty and slow (16.6 KB and 190ms in testing).

      This was requested by evasilyeva in Hipchat, and is also required for Confluence to resolve https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-33947 in a performant way.
