As a User, I want JIRA give us the option to retain status when cloning or splitting an Issue.

      Problem Definition

      Currently, when an issue is cloned or splitted, the Status field is not retained.

      Suggested Solution

      Give the customer the option if we could like to retain the Status field during Issue Cloning or splitting.

      Why this is important

      • If user clone the issue together with the sub-tasks, the status for the sub-tasks is not updated. Users are required to manually update the statuses which is time consuming.
