      Problem Definition

      JIRA's REST API currently provides response only in JSON format. Users migrating from JIRA's SOAP and XML-RPC remote APIs may also miss this particularly.

      Suggested Solution

      Provide XML formats for REST API outputs as well, for additional convenience.
