Suggestions are not shown in Basic search for custom fields of type "Label"

      Environment: Jira OnDemand, v. 6.5-OD-08-001

      Suggestions are not shown in Basic search for custom fields of type "Label".

      When I search by a builtin Label field, I can see a list of suggested values I can choose from (see "jira-builtin-label.png")
      For custom field of type "Label", suggested values are not shown and the only way to search by this custom field is to specify the exact custom label value - see "jira-custom-label.png", the custom field name is "Branch".
      Note that there are indeed several issues which have "Branch" specified.
      Re-indexing does not help.
