My company recently migrated to JIRA 6, from JIRA 4, and we've been significant issues with some of the keyboard shortcut keys; specifically the "i" to reassign the issue to the user.

We would really like the ability to disable this shortcut key. Most of the employees use keyboard shortcuts, so disabling all of the shortcuts (the only option currently) isn't going work. We've been through many trainings, and almost daily there's an email or a conversation about how to not press the "i" key while in JIRA, but those just aren't working. There should be a way for the admins to disable specific shortcut keys, so that each company can better tailor JIRA to their processes and workflows.
